Project Overview: Steenbok Construction Limited served as the Main Contractor for the comprehensive renovation of the Kariba North Bank Extension Power Corporation (KNBEPC) Head Office and the construction of a Guard House. A defining achievement of this project was the successful execution of all works while the corporate office remained fully functional, demonstrating our expertise in site management, logistical precision, and minimal-disruption workflows.

Key Technical Scope:

• Structural Remediation: Execution of wall crack repairs and structural reinforcements to ensure the long-term integrity of the existing headquarters.
• Building Envelope & Protection: Management of extensive demolition works followed by waterproofing and roofing systems, including the installation of integrated rainwater goods.
• Interior Fit-Out & Finishes: Delivery of high-quality carpentry, joinery, and ceiling systems. Architectural finishes included premium tiling, painting, and decorations, alongside the installation of modern aluminum windows, doors, and custom blinds.
• MEP & Metal Works: Comprehensive upgrade of plumbing and electrical fittings to improve operational efficiency, complemented by custom metal works for enhanced security and utility.
• Ancillary Construction: Full construction of a Guard House facility, integrating the site’s entry infrastructure with the main office aesthetic.
